Father Rella is a Catholic Priest incardinated in the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy (Diocese) of Passaic. He has been Pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help since the Summer of 2018. He also holds faculties to serve in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese for the Military Services and holds the rank of Lt Col in the United States Air Force. He deployed overseas two times. Father Rella is a native of Brooklyn, New York. He holds a Master of Divinity Degree as well as Masters Degrees in Music and Nursing. He is an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and has completed a Post-Masters Certifcation as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He has performed professionally as an actor and singer, as well as having two published books and numerous articles. He proudly served as a Paramedic in New York City on 9/11/2001. Father Rella serves as a Chaplain for the New Jersey State Police. He is the Wing Chaplain for the 177th Fighter Wing of the New Jersey Air National Guard and Senior Catholic Priest for Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
