The Parish Advisory Council is a leadership team within the parish that is convened by the Pastor and with whom the Pastor consults in planning for a vital parish – present and future. The council meets four times each year as announced. It is not a legislative body. It is an advisory committee to the Pastor, charged with prayerfully discerning parish needs, setting pastoral priorities, and empowering people to participate in the mission of Jesus Christ and the programs and goals of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church.
The Pastor/Administrator serves as chair of the Parish Advisory Council. The Parish Trustees, twelve lay members and an alternate member serve as voting participants. The Administrative Assistant is also a non-voting member serving as an organizer and recording secretary.
The main mission of the council supports continuity, accesses parish needs and supports the Pastor in his decisions to move the parish forward.
