Father Rella is a Catholic Priest incardinated in the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy (Diocese) of Passaic. He has been Pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help since 2018. He also holds faculties to serve in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese for the Military Services and holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force. He served overseas twice during contingency operations. Father Rella is a native of Brooklyn, New York. He holds a Master of Divinity Degree as well as master's degrees in music and nursing. He is an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and has completed a Post-Masters Certification as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He has performed professionally as an actor and singer, as well as having two published books and numerous articles. He proudly served as a Paramedic in New York City on 9/11/2001. He is the Wing Chaplain for the 90th Missile Wing in the Air Force Reserve. Father Rella also serves as a Chaplain for the New Jersey State Police, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the Civil Air Patrol.
